Would you like to have more garden and less lawn? Support biodiversity while growing drought tolerant species? Create your own outdoor wonderland? Join us for this exploration of drought thriving plants, water saving garden strategies, and basic elements of garden design. We’ll look at hardy plants and landscapes from around the world as well as zooming in on plants that thrive locally. We’ll delve into plant names and culture, look at solar aspects, soil and irrigation types and get some hands-on design practice.
